bud i didnt have the courage and the faith.

ctc.
a huge milestone in our time.
an experience we had to experience a second time round so it truely matters.
no one expected it to be this fufiling,
in fact no one expected anything of it at all.
because it was supposed to be for the number fours.

the most humbling and heart bearing debrief of all times.
starting at 11.30pm.
issues were brought up and discussed,
issues we did not want to step down without resolving.
innermost feelings of people bared.
our hopes and dreams for the council,
our bonds with the council and all.

what started with a prayer i believed,
ended in one lt filled with crying people.
when our hopes for the council was mentioned,
we all realised we'd actually been working towards the same goals,
just in our different ways.
slowly, the memories returned and our strength and unity came back.
we cried for the entirety of one and a half hours.
all our fatigue from camp washed away with tears of joy and rejuvenation.

26 unique individuals.
coming to work together is no small feat.
we have matured in our thinking and learnt to be more understanding
and im sure this is what we all wish for our juniors.

this second ctc was difinately more empowering than the one we were given.
that time we only left feeling fatigue.
this time we left a whole person again.
after the many fights and disagreements.
we have grown and we
indeed,
have shone=)

one last thing.
council is not just like second family to me.
it IS my second family=)
